Web design for Evanston small businesses

Evanston is a lakefront college town anchored by Northwestern University, with a small business community that serves students, faculty, and long-time residents alike, and a real, if smaller, bilingual population within it.

The area, in brief

Evanston's population and customer base skew toward students, university staff, and long-term professional residents.

The city has a meaningful Latino population, particularly in its western neighborhoods.

Why bilingual matters here

A bilingual site helps an Evanston business reach beyond the university bubble, to the full range of residents who actually live and shop there year-round.

The challenge

Casa Brava needed a site that matched the energy of the restaurant itself, fire-grilled, family-owned since 2011, with daily deals and a menu that actually made people hungry, not a static page nobody bothered to open.

Our approach

We designed a bold, motion-driven one-page site built around the menu, the daily specials, and a clear path to call in an order or get directions, tuned for the phone-first way most people actually find a neighborhood restaurant.
