Berwyn, IL

Web design for Berwyn small businesses

Berwyn sits right next to Cicero and shares much of its bilingual, family-business character, from its restaurant strips to its shops along Cermak Road. Small businesses here compete on the same neighborhood trust that's built by word of mouth, in both languages.

The area, in brief

Berwyn has a large and growing Latino population, alongside its historic Bohemian and Eastern European roots.

The city's small business corridors mix long-standing family businesses with newer immigrant-owned shops and restaurants.

Why bilingual matters here

A bilingual site matches how Berwyn actually talks to itself, across generations and languages, in the same family and the same block.

The challenge

Casa Brava needed a site that matched the energy of the restaurant itself, fire-grilled, family-owned since 2011, with daily deals and a menu that actually made people hungry, not a static page nobody bothered to open.

Our approach

We designed a bold, motion-driven one-page site built around the menu, the daily specials, and a clear path to call in an order or get directions, tuned for the phone-first way most people actually find a neighborhood restaurant.
